1. Ginger – Ginger is best known for its aromatic, pungent flavor and is widely used to compliment Indian dishes. Adding ginger to your cup of tea gives it a spicy flavor profile and makes for an effective way to fight common colds and an upset stomach. Add a dash of honey and you have just the perfect cup ready!

2. Lemon – Most tea drinkers swear by lemon. Add a slice of lemon or mix some lemon juice to give your tea a slightly sweet yet acidic taste that tingles your taste buds. Being rich in Vitamin C and low on calories, lemon also makes your cup healthier.

RECIPE : My ‘Aam Papad Chai’ For Chaayos Cafe

KEY INGREDIENTS
1 tsp Whole leaf Black Tea
1/2 inch Aam Papad (dried mango)
Cardamom
Slice of Ginger
Slice of Lemon
Fresh Mint Leaves (Optional)

PREPARATION
For a serving, add crushed ginger and a cardamom pod to boiling water and let it steep. Then, add organic leaf tea to pre-boiled water and let it brew for 3-4 minutes. In your cup, add Aam Papad, pour in the brewed tea and stir. Garnish it with mint leaves (approx 4-5) and a slice of lemon. Voila! your brew is ready.
